Exclusive to Sentinel Offender Services, Intermediate GPS is an increased tracking level above Passive GPS. It offers on-demand offender locating in near real-time mode. This is in addition to historical passive reporting. Direct voice connectivity is available so that officers can speak directly with the offender, and not a two-way radio system.

Sentinel's Intermediate GPS tracking allows officers an option between 24/7/365 real-time active GPS tracking and delayed tracking that is associated with Passive GPS. The on-demand capability allows officers to view offender tracking and data at their discretion.
